Nothing to critique on your pics. Very nice. On that pic with the steeple coming out of the water, was that some major flooding somewhere?

I've had the 18-55, 18-135, 18-135, 70-300IS and 28-135...

So far, IQ-wise, sharpness-wise, and of course width-wise, it trumps them all. I really enjoyed it, specifically on the wide end.

Here are a few more pictures of it

I cant find a good link for about the history of the place but in short i can tell you that it was a Nazi project during WW2, they flooded the valley wth a few villages to create a dam.

Thanks, and yes, I drove up and down a few times this time and also last year... the view and the experience is amazing!
