The E30 is the first BMW I can remember loving. My high school english teacher had one. She was also an ex-model, and so perhaps there was some heady mix of hormones and automotive and physical beauty going on there, but the E30 is inextricably linked in my mind to that time in my life, and it definitely places the E30 is a special place in my heart.

Wow
What a nice car!
I had an E30 323 two doors 85 mod and one 87 325 like this.... I loved the E30, the easyest 3-series to drive ever. It was a perfect car! |

"...if we're lucky enough to still have it around when my son is ready to drive, you know i want him to drive it. If he happens to crash it, then that would be part of the complete story"
wow....that part was very deep. Great video & story!!

Better get one while you can. The cars I see are either headed for the junk yard or into someones collection.

Nice and as closely original and clean, only short of a 750 v12 twin turbo engine swap, with removed badges to maintain the mysterious and clean look. But absolutely a video and story i can relate to and I love it.

As a 17 year old, I can only dream of owning an E30. But videos like this one inspire me to work on getting one on my own and then keeping it until one of us dies. Great vid!

"anybody that's every driven a BMW will tell you they won't go back"
So true! I tell people this every time when they ask me about getting one for themselves. That is the best looking e30. Very nicely done!

"anybody who's driven a BMW will tell you, that, they won't go back....ya know...i mean you hear this often..."
So amazingly true. Everyone that has driven (a properly maintained) one that was used to not driving one, has enjoyed the experience from what I've seen. |

This is the type of car buyer I want to be, not the "drive it for 3 years and get a new one" type.
This guy truly values that car because it means something to him. That's how it should be. |

Awesome video. I've been casually searching for an e30 on and off for a year or so now. Mostly for fun, as I can't really buy another car right now, but I can tell you that an e30 as clean as his would demand a solid price, and would not be on the market for long. If I found one in that kind of shape, I'd have a hard time not wanting to sell my e90 and use the e30 as a DD. if you ever venture into an e30 forum, you'll see why it's tough to come by a relatively unmodded one that's not a bucket of rust. Those guys are swapping in engines and doing all kinds of crazy stuff to them. Anyway, great car!
