funny m3 owner..

so i'm driving around and I see m3 going the other way, we stop at a stop sign opposite to each other... then he starts to rev his engine and then floors it, i keep going ... wtf was that all about, seems like insecure guy who saw 335 as a threat or something

I also doubt he knew you had a 335 from the front. He could have, from the intercooler or wheels, but chances are he just saw a BMW and decided to play rough.

I sometimes would do that; if I see a car I appreciate, I would rev my engine at them, just like a nod.

I'd have to agree with ejazbmw.

The M3 driver was on the OTHER side of the road, I doubt he was 'acting hard'. Have you ever considered that maybe you're the insecure one worrying about what others are thinking, so the instant that someone revs their engine, you automatically take it as a threat or a challenge?

I mean, if he was right beside you and revved his engine, then yeah, I can see it, but from what you've described, I think it's all in your head

Too funny. I came out of a store a couple weeks ago and a guy in an m3 conv. was sitting in his car stopped looking at my 335. I thought he would want to ask questions about it or say something, but when he saw me come out the door and head that way he took off. Maybe I am just hideuos, I don't know?

Usually everytime I am driving through town, I get young people in mustang gt's that want to race. I just pass, like driving through downtown stop light to stoplight is ever a good idea...

maybe the M3 driver lives in the same hood, has seen our man driving around in his sparkling new 335, and recognizes him at the stop....

So the 335i owners should feel threatened by 135i
