Transformers Movie, Robots that punch eachother, doesn't get any better
Anyone who was a kid in the 80s needs to see this movie, holy hell, Michael Bay and Steven Spielberg did an amazing job. I saw it at an AMC theater in Garden State Plaza NJ, and aside from the DLP projector crapping out for about 10 minutes, I was blown away for almost the whole movie.
I was skeptical, seeing as Pearl Harbor and Armageddon were pretty damn terrible; Bay steered clear of the love story, but had just enough humanity and compassion to make you interested in the human characters. It takes a little while for the action to get going full-bore, its worth the wait, the effects and the action are astounding. They paid a lot of attention to the original cartoon, it really looks amazing on the big screen my hat is off to Industrial Light & Magic, the animation was flawless.

Just saw it this evening as well...worth the admission fee. As expected story and plot is secondary to the visuals. Outstanding. Fast paced action. A great night out. Megan Fox is a welcome bonus as well

I was really impressed in the wiki article that they had the original voice actor from the show do Optimus Prime in the new movie.
