I got mine from with a $100 student discount and then got a free ipod touch from a promotional offer, sold the ipod for $200, and ended up with $300 off a brand new macbook pro

You have to use your noggen to get any discounts on amazon, cashback , 5% target, sometimes microcenter if you have one near you is good, tax free places, etc..
if you need a laptop wait till the event in 2 weeks before than also refurbished from apple is pretty much brand new. check deal sites slickdeals, fatwallet etc. and ebay is sometimes a great place_buy new_ or with apple care never withou tit

+5 I've never had an issue with my Apple refurb stuff. Definitely the best way to save some money on Apple stuff.
Also, see if you have an authorized Apple service center (repair shop) around, check with them to see if they have some laptops. Plus, being an authorized center, you will get a warranty through them. |
