to be completely honest, i don't see the point of the X6
out of that list, i'd probably choose the merc if you put X5 in that list, it would probably be the X5 for me |

That x6 is not as roomy inside as you'd think. The ML 350 on the other hand.... that thing looks really good. My friend drives the Merc GL and it rides as smooth as butter. It takes potholes like nothing I've sat in before, so the Mercs definitely have very wonderful ride quality.
Just fyi though, don't turn a corner too fast in these SUVs, especially coming from a low-grounded sports sedan.

X5 over X6 for me as well, I think the X6 looks like it is trying too hard and the X5 has more room. They both drive well. The Cayenne is sweet though, I voted 2011 Cayenne, especially w/o the choice of X5.

If you want comfy, get the Lexus
Id get the x5 over an x6 if I wanted comfort and space over sportiness The x6 is more sporty, but less comfy than the x5

I would go with the ML 350 in this case. It's very comfortable and a great car overall.
The RX 350 is also a good choice and I beleive it gets the best mpg in this lineup, might also be the cheapest. The Porsche's interior is kind of ruff (compared to Benz or Lexus) and if you get the base model, it's far behind in standard options compared to most other 'base' SUVs on this list. I personally do like how it drives, has a somewhat sporty feel to it. BMW X6, I've never drove or owned one, so can't say much about it.
