one of my friend bought 2007 nissan sentra se-r spec V.
he want to race with me...but i don't know....is it sentra pretty fast???or...
i can win?? i have 2006 e90 325i 6mt.

those things are pretty quick man. I'd say it'd be a close race.

The 325i is slow. Don't race him, if you lose you'll never live it down. Just imagine your friend almost daily, "Hey guys, my Sentra beat a BMW, everyone points and laughs at you". Just let him think what he wants.

Sentra 0-60 mph: 7.2 sec.
325i 0-60 mph: 6.7 seconds.

Unless you're uncomfortable with your acceleration skills you should win stock for stock.

I looked it up and found 6.7 for the Sentra SE-R Spec-V.

To the OP- just tell your friend that since his Sentra isnt the lowest model in the sentra line up as opposed to your 325, it's just isnt a fair race. Tell him that if he wants to race, he should race a 330 or a 335.

No matter where you look at, Sentra (R) has no chance...
I have done 6.4 in the 325, so even if Sentra can do 6.7, you should not loose. Now, for beating it -- it is driver's race as is every one where the pread is < 0.5-ish sec...

Again, you need to realize that the 325 is FAR from the lowes model of the 3er... 316 would be it. As for "fair" -- 6-cyl vs. 4-cyl is also unfair, therefore, 320 vs. Type R would be fais...and yes, Sentra would beat that one...

i wish..i could trade in with 335.....rite now my 325i is lease..it's 36 month and i have 28month left...if i trade in to 335i or 335 coupe..how much i have to pay the fine? like penalty or something like thhat..??if i do early return it??
is it true??
and for the race..i will try with him and i let you know guys..but i don't know when is though..but i will let you know guys~!

my suggestion, set up a designated street, set up some type of spike strip toward the begginning of the race, then when he loses say, "oh, whats that, your car doesnt come with rft standard", that will show him.
