Does it actually know what gear you are in? And react to the accelerator?

This seems cool, but I honestly LOVE the sound of my 335is. It already sounds like the app... and nothing beats that turbo 'burble.' The 335is exhaust is like a slightly tame Nissan GT-R imo

Yea I doubt you'd enjoy it much. I love the 335is exhaust note.

I'm not sure how the gear changes work. I downloaded the app for fun, but haven't tried it. Looks like it just shifts on it's own depending on your speed. I know it uses the accelerometer, but the description says it needs GPS as well so I'm assuming it adjusts based on your speed as well.

Agreed, this thing would sound terrible if it makes WOT noises the whole time lol. Imo your 335is sounds better than a stock GTR. That thing has a terrible exhaust note from the factory.
