+1. Even if he has a supercharger done to it...I don't know if he can hang with the M6.

That doesn't do much especially on stock K series motor setup. (if the new Si uses K series).
I used to be a honda/nitrous fan(had prelude with 60shot zex wet) so I know what they are capable of. There is no way stock Si with an intake and 50shot will keep up with M6. If he is pretty damn stupid, he'll be running 50shot of dry which is less efficient. If he is completely stupid, he'll be running 75shot on stock motor which will cost him an engine at the end of the race.

I have a feeling you'll never see that ricer ever again.

The Civic Si is actually decently fast. You didn't specify, what kind of race? I assume a quarter mile? Despite the prestige of the M6, it doesn't have a huge quarter mile advantage over the civic, and especially with intake and nos, the race will be closer than you would think. A civic is still a civic of course, but just don't automatically assume. A Civic Si is a great car in its own right.

Civic SI is decently fast for a Pocket rocket OK... But it's not even in the same league as an M6 in any performance catagory...

As for 1/4 mile? WTF? NO HUGE ADVANTAGE?

Last time I checked 2+ seconds is a Freaking HUGE advantage.

Besides it's not even a class leader anymore, let alone any sort of Competition for an M6. NOS might narrow the gap, but not enough on it's own to do anything worth while.

Remember, other folks here read and are into cars as well.

But in the end... If you win, what has been accomplished? You still are in an M6 and he is in a Civic. Both nice cars, but I would take the M6 over the two.

why don't you let your Dad race him? After all, it's HIS car........or are you the "baller" type who only fronts other people's things?

Just don't race him in your 325.......you'll lose ;-)

there's no way he can win with that setup. tell him to run a 100shot of nos and give him 2:1 odds...

then laugh when his engine blows

I agree. I also have a friend that has an 07 Civic Si. Let me tell you, this car has alot of kick when you hit the gears hard. I definitely don't think it has enough power to beat the M6 in a quarter mile. The kid is desperate for some quick cash lol.
