it was some dude with his girlfriend...he had some ricer exhaust that sounded horrible...i had my top down and was with a few friends...i looked at him, then looked at my friends, then looked back at him and started laughing and rolled up my windows...i promised my dad two things at the dealership when we went to pick up the car

1.) i would never race it...no matter what
2.) i wouldnt let anyone else drive it...not even my sisters or my best friend

i intend on keeping these promises because if my dad went this far for me its the least i could do for him [and myself]

SRT4 guys always seem to wanna race everyone! I get that too. I just look at them and think to myself, "you drive a freaking neon"...

Nobody EVER challenged me to a race openly..(a TL tried to race me off a red light, he floored it when it turned green, but I wasn't looking and was with my dad, what a moron).. Maybe its the area I live in..

I've turned down countless challenges to race. They really do get annoying on Long Island though. They pull up next to you on the highway and rev and honk at you, and I continue the pace...I slow down to let them get ahead, or speed up to get a car length on them (its dangerous to be pacing incase I need to get out of the way of something in my lane and I can't because the stupid dipshit next to me wont move).

One guy paced me all the way up the Cross Island. Couldn't merge, couldn't change lanes, nothing. This guys Neon was hell bent on racing me (I even tried to get off the highway but I couldn't jam the brakes to make him overshoot without someone hitting me). So left without an option, I dropped 2 gears and was out on him. Then proceeded off the next exit

I wasn't happy with what I did (had a friends girl in the car, and she freaked out), but it was that or call the cops...and I've never called the cops on the road before for such a situation, so I didn't know how long they were going to take.

yepp...thats what he suggested...as soon as its broken in...but im not sure if i wanna track it, dunno if theres a downside to pushing it...ill do a little search when im closer to breaking her in
