Good Whisky
Sat here in the candlelight with a wee dram of Laphroaig Quarter Cask. Swirling it around in my Glencairn glass and I could get high from the fumes alone.
Who needs wine?

I love Laphroaig, great Islay flavor.
If you like laphroaig's quarter cask, try Caol Ila's 97 distiller's edition. Great Islay flavor without being overhwlemingly peaty (which laphroaig almost is). Also, stepping outside of Scotland, Parker's Heritage is an awesome whiskey if you like a hint of smokey flavor. I'm a big wine lover, but definitely love my whiskey as well. I'd love to hear some of your favorites! |

I haven't found an alcohol that I didn't like....it's like picking your favorite child...different but each lovable for their differences

I think I had about 8 people try it and everyone said they really liked it, one was not even a whiskey drinker.
Probably one of my favorites I have had thus far.

Bastille is pretty solid. Oh, and "whiskey" can be spelled with or without the "e" depending on country.

Dalwhinnie is still my fav, although I haven't often been known to turn down a sniff of my bro-in-laws various bottles of Macallan. For the thrift-concious, Costco's brand is bottled at the Macallan distillery. . .

I like Suntory Yamazaki 12yr and 18yr aged single malt whiskey. I've had better whiskeys, but nothing better in the price range that I could afford while still in college.
