Hyundai Genesis Coupe 450 HP V8

anyone heard of the this new beast 5 litre v8 hyundai genesis coupe with wait for it...............................................8 year 100 000 mile waranty starting around $55 000 usd theres one in surrey bc a buddy of mine who works there drove it said it was INSANE but quiet for so much power....add a vega body kit and i'm sold

My whole car obsession started with a 1997 Hyundai Tiburon. They've come a long way- but 55k will still be a tough sell. In that price range you can get a new Camaro ZL1 or Corvette Grandsport.

but 5.0L V8 coupe?? sure its not a swap someone has done with R-SPEC genesis sedan engine? thought RM500 was the only concept car.

wait... wait... just googled it and seems like its only for the 2012 models.

dang... now just need to work on the price... $55k is a lot of money for that badge.

Lets see how well it runs on the track. I have a feeling its not quite there yet but given their track record I have no doubt they will give BMW a serious run for its money in few years

They aren't putting a V8 in the Genesis Coupe, this has already been confirmed. The '13 models will get a revised 4cyl turbo and a DI V6.

I don't see anything in that quote that would indicate it being placed in the coupe, the sedan has always had a V8 option. I used to own a Gen Coupe and still frequent the boards often, if this is indeed true then you are the only person out there right now who is privy to the information.
