328i vs RSX-S
My buddy recently purchased a RSX-S. It's an '03. It's really not that bad looking, just not a huge fan of Acura's look. I was wondering how my 328i would fair against his vehicle. I feel he would be quick off the line but after that I should have him, not sure. If we do race at all it will be at the track, would rather not get tickets.
Thank for any info.

Just for kicks, goto www.clubrsx.com and go to the Off-Topic Forum RSX vs. All and do a search on your car.

I actually owned a Type S before I bought my E92 328i. All I had for engine mods were an intake and exhaust. I honestly don't know which is faster. As mentioned above, I agree that the Acura might be quicker from the start, but I think overall the Bimmer would take it. Type S's were notorious for their wheel hop when launching. Most guys who race would get softer engine mounts to cushion the motor. It was a fun car to drive, high redline, good handling and very nimble.

I think RSX-S is a very fun car to drive. It should be more nimble than a 328i but 328i is definitely steadier and stronger!

+1... my friend used to be like that and was up and down that ClubRSX forum. then he got a 350z and kept overhyping the car... and now he has a suby 2007 sti... which is no doubt a fast car. despite the upgrade in cars... he remains that boyish racer who thinks his car is faster than everybody elses...
