after driving the 4 door with manual....eh, I have to say that this the worst clutch I have ever seen in my life. Totaly unacceptable for a 40K car....
No fun of drive at all....

Normally, I don't condemn cars unless I had direct experience..... I almost traded in my E36 M3 for the G35 Coupe in 2002 based on the specs... As soon as I test drove the G35 Coupe for about an hour, I traded in my E36 M3 for my E46 M3 Cab..... How Nissan takes the soul out of a car with those impressive specs still eludes me.

ok... its not as fun to drive as a BMW, I must admit. My friend let me drive his 325i SEDAN while I owned my G35 and his sedan handled better. But for the price tag, I think you get a bargain (depending on what your priorities are and what you're looking for).
The 3-series is a better car, hands down, but for the money, I think G35s present a good alternative. I wouldn't go so far as to call them POS's (thats reserved for Fords--with the exception of the GT ) I mean... E46 M3 Cab vs. G35? Why even try comparing... Personally, I think those two cars are in two completely separate market segments (although they MAY be in the same class)

i can tell you exactly what kind of comparison test we will see. 335 vs G37.
G37, better value, better options, better tech AND faster performance numbers if probably all categories. BUT The 335 will eek out another win based on the intangibles. They will say, G37 was close, but not enough to win. That is the magazines mantra for the past 10 years regaring 3 series vs all contenders. Whether they are valid points or not, I dont know...but thats what I expect to see. |

You really think the G37 will have 'faster performance numbers in probably all categories'? You saw the dyno, right?

i still think so, but does it doesnt really matter. I guess if it makes you feel more like a man or sleep better that your car can do 0-60 in sub 5 seconds, then its worthwile. The 335 has more upside with chipping, but off the showroom floor, I wouldnt doubt if the G37 outdoes the 335 in 0-60 and 1.4 mile times. I know we are talking probably a tenth or two here and there.

id prefer the new engine in the old styling... not exactly a "handling car" but i'd still rock it if i were made out of gold or silver
