I want to get it, I just dont think Ill actually have the time to play it to justify the monthly cost.

Is it free for the first month with the game? I may just get the game and see how much time I actually have to spend playing it.

Also, how is it? I remember playing Star Wars Galaxies, game was fun, so Im sure this one is equally fun..

is def not a wow killer, it's good but that good, maybe my opinion changes at Max level but as of now nope.

WoW will never die, way too many hopelessly addicted (myself included).

Although with the new Kung-Fu Panda expansion, I am finding it harder to justify wasting my life and money on this nonsense.

Coming from an ex-WoW player, SWTOR is polished and refreshing. I'm enjoying the game so far and will probably not return to WoW even with the release of their new expansion. To me, TOR doesn't feel like a grind and the quests are involving and fun to do, the NPC's give you a brief background story on why the quest has to be done, rather than kill "x" amount of this or retrieve this and that. Yet, there is so much more to do other than questing.

I think with those type of guys it's all about competition, they want to brag about being "world's first level 50" etc...But they are only competing with a small percent of the community, yet they feel they are competing with everyone. As for me, I want to take my time and enjoy the game, but because of WoW I also feel the need to quickly become OP and obtain the best gear etc...lol.

Been playing for a little while, had some internet issues over vacation and couldn't play. I agree it's not a WoW killer, and WoW needs to die slowly on it's own in a pool of liquid hot magma. I'm hoping the next expansion drops WoW subs even more, because that Panda shit is pretty lame.

Recommend that you join a server with at least a "HIGH" population if you're going to start this game now.

I started on a low pop server, got to level 26, and hated myself because there are no leveling guilds, it takes hours to find groups for quests, and takes hours upon hours to find full groups for flashpoints. Did some research and found that server transfers aren't available (at least for now), so I rerolled a different character on a "VERY HIGH" pop server. Very rarely get a wait to log in to the server, but instantly joined a guild, instantly found people for group quests just by asking once, and was easily able to find a full group for the first flashpoint Black Talon for Empire side.

So now I have a 26 sith juggernaut sitting on a low pop server not doing a damned thing, and my new 17 sith assassin on the other server being able to do a lot more and get help/groups when I need it. Wasted a lot of time, but oh well...

Coming from playing WoW since burning crusade, SWTOR is pretty sick. You can really feel WoW is really old now, and especially boring. Can't help to just shake my head on the new kung fu panda expansion to come out too. So this is a nice change.

Great game so far. Quests are more engaging, doesn't feel like a grind in WoW. Wrecking havoc with lightsabers is just plain sick.

wait until you realize how abilities can't follow each other because their "animation" hasn't ended, which means although the dmg # ticked, the animation is still going and you cna't cast the next spell.

Such a broken game.
