Hire a lawyer to fight on the basis that the law is unconstitutional.

Or talk to ACLU...tell them the revenue from the tickets is going to fund arms for central American gurellas

Law is always stupid. I had my Mazda 6 tinted for 4 years all around, never got a ticket. This one morning I just move my car from across the street back to my side. The freaking cop made a U-turn and gave me a ticket with illegal window tint and no driver license in possession. I told her I am selling my car since I got the 335i. you knew the rule about having a front plate, and must have known that you may get a ticket for it

I thought we lived in the USA not communist China. We have too many useless laws. There were 10 crack sales that went unnoticed within 100 feet of your car.

Front license plate laws are rubbish. What's the cop going to do, cite you doing 5mph over the speed limit from the opposite side of the street instantly by seeing your front license plate or something?

i got pulled over in campus for not having a front plate.....ever since then i just sucked it up and dealt with the ugly thing there.....

It goes on the dash anytime you're parked on the street. Parking enforcement loves giving out no front plate tickets instead of expired meter tickets. If you're really lucky you can get both at once!! If the plate's on the dash they'll leave you alone. Every day, every night on the dash

Now don't piss off a certain bored NW MPD officer as he'll give you a "improperly mounted" ticket even if it's in the window. But at least I got his badge number in order to complain about harassment

And no it wasn't harassment that I got the ticket but other circumstances and he took a cheap shot with the ticket.

That sucks. I'm just skeptical that one day we'll be in a bimmer meet and some anal cop comes out of no where and starts ticketing everyone for license plates/tints. THAT would suck!

Or at meets with plate covers starts ticketing for NO (visible) plates and ignore any explanation. Now THAT would be taking it to extremes.
