I know there are probably a buttload of threads on WoW, but I wanted to post about 4.3 that was released this week.

Anyone finish the Deathwing raid yet? I finished it last night with my guild (10 man). We are usually a progression guild but haven't done heroic Ragnaros yet, kinda fell to the wayside... We'll start heroics next week in the new raid.

The last two fights (Spine of Deathwing and Madness of Deathwing) are effin awesome. I like them a lot more than some of the previous crap they put out (BWD, BoT, FL). The first four fights of the new raid are pretty easy though, but it could be because we are a little overgeared from FL heroics.

Is it true that you can be saved to a normal raid with your guild and still use the new Looking For Raid to find a raid? I could use some of the LFR stuff for my offset. One of my friends said he did it this week, but I wanted to ask around before I tried.

What do you all think?

Nobody here I guess...

I don't know anyone that plays Eve online, and besides, I can't play more than one space-type game at a time, and with The Old Republic coming out soon, that is going to occupy the majority of my time.

I havent done the new raids yet. But I like the new replacement Troll Heroics.

Theyre fun but way too easy. My mage friend and my hunter basically soloed them with my turtle tanking because we had a group that had greens and kept dying.


I got the annual pass and the mount as well. Looks like im addicted for at least another year!

The deathwing fights are pretty damn fun, the rest not so much.

You can q for LFR as many times as you want but only get loot once.

Dammit. I wish my guild was into raiding. Were a "social" guild that does occasional raids. I dont want anything ridiculously hardcore but running dungeons over and over again (damn them for making my valor gear justice) is just really unappealing.

Im basically at the point of me having my best preraiding gear but I want more! lol

You can definitely do the new Looking for Raid function. I've done them on my alt druid and they are actually a LOT easier than the real raids. Only downside is that you're in a raid group with a bunch of randoms, just like the dungeon finder, so you'll have your share of morons.

We spent our whole raid night last night figuring out how to kill Morchok on heroic. It was pretty rough, but we finally killed it. The hardest thing is group composition. In 10 man, you'll need four healers, two tanks, and then only four DPS. We had issues because we didn't have four healers, so our pally main tank had to respec heals, which he was not very good with and didn't have good gear, and I had to respec to be the offtank, again my gear isn't that good. So we had issues and it took us about 3 hours, lol.. Pretty stressful and irritating.

you can two heal Morchok heroic 10man easily.

we did it with 3. Obviously one side only has one, and that side died the least

just for kicks we did a harmode 25 man ulduar mount run last night for the ironbound protodrake. Took 4 hours with one wipe in the celestial planetarium.
Algalon is still a bitch to kill even with 85s, no idea how you could do it earlier.

Dindnt get the mount We screwed up the boss where you have to break both arms and kill the boss within 12 seconds of eachother.




I also made a discovery last night. If youre realid friends with someone who is on another server, you can make a dungeon or raid finder group and all do stuff together. Pretty cool actually.

Did a Dragon Soul alt run last night with my guild. Just normal mode (10 man) for fun. Got to the ship battle but it got too late and we didn't quite have the DPS for it. I was healing on my druid. Loot has been falling my way for my druid, but I am having a hard time on my DK. My alt is only 2 ilvl's lower than my main, kinda sad, lol...

Ive noiticed that most of the new gear is either plate or leather. Sucks for me until I get my DK to 85.

But hey. I finally got a good raidfinder drop got the bow that drops of deathwing in the final boss fight.

Vishanka, Jaws of the Earth. Pretty decent decent proc weapon

Now if only I had a full raid group for real raids...

Haven't been playing over the holidays. Played a little SWTOR instead, very addictive!

Guild took a break from raiding anyway, but we start back up tonight for some progression on heroic mode bosses. Fun, lol...

did you guys hear? Next patch youll be able to cross server raid every 10 man and 25 man except for DS.

I also just got put in charge of my guild's raiding parties...this is the most responsibility ive had in a while lol
