HNWIs are defined as those having investable assets of $1 million or more, excluding primary residence, collectibles, consumables, and consumer durables

Is this the definition of 1%?
seems a bit low

I thought the 1% measurement had everything to do with income, not liquid assets.... Dumb

Yeah the city of Detroit itself is absolute shit, but since they're talking about the metropolitan area, that'll include Oakland County. That place has plenty of old money.

No shit man. I hope it implodes now that they started fucking with the very people they're claiming to represent. Knifing cops (who are in the "99%"), sexual assault on other 99%ers, and blocking rush hour traffic for other 99%ers who just wanted to get home to their families on a Friday night.... Yeah good luck getting people to join you when you're simultaneously fucking them in the ass. That always works.

I believe somewhat in the cause, at a higher level of abstraction. There is stuff wrong that should be addressed, but the actual occupy crowds and their actions are becoming such a nuisance. Good luck getting people behind your cause when you're also pissing them off. They should be policing their own, getting rid of all those who didn't vote, those who are obviously there just to do drugs and hang out with a rambunctious crowd, and those who are dumb enough to lead the protest to alienate the very people they claim they're trying to help. What a bunch of cockmongers. They whine and bitch about the spin the media is putting on the protest, yet they hand over negative material like it's Christmas for the reporters. Not hard to make a steaming pile of poo smell like shit. Their "leadership", or complete lack thereof, is just turning this into a circus.

Houston the only city from the south - makes sense since we're the biggest city from Texas and Oklahoma all the way east to North Carolina.

Why aren't you occupying then, idiot? If you're so worried about all the financial injustices that have been put on you, why aren't you out there stewing up some patchouli for all your misguided brethren? Complaining on a forum that, by in large, doesn't sympathize with your socialist rhetoric isn't going to accomplish anything. But then again, this 'movement' isn't really about accomplishing anything, but more of a modern day Woodstock.

Bros do you think these 1% prefer quiet exclusive suburbs like in Norcal or high above the super bustling city where they can get their cheese, wine, ham down 40 floors and just a block away?

Being for social justice doesn't mean I fetishize poverty. I can drive a new M3 and still be for justice bro.

All these wall street crooks need their neighborhoods occupied.
