I have mixed feeling about this one. Sort of a "love hate relationship".

I think this is gonna help Nissan in the direction that they need to be. They are losing the performance that they use to carry in their cars in the past. They have gotten so americanized, catering to what americans want and do, with cheaper interiors and lack of reliability. Hopefully this car will be a hit for them as the 350z has been.

The car in those images look very busy. I prefer the versions in the prototype pics.

tissot, those images are old and are not what the GTR looks like. Everyone has been passing those around lately and they are not new. It makes the GTR look ugly IMO vs the latest images I have added first.

I love the look, it's unmistakable JDM. If they are going after 911 performance then that's the way to introduce it: with full JDM flair to let Porsche know they have arrived.

I love the lines of the glass from the side. It reminds me of those IMSA cars.

For that money, I think I'd rather go with an Audi RS4/5 or the M3 after the 335. Just my preference. Or else its just late and I'm reading it completely wrong lol.

No, same money, but the GT-R will dominate an M3 or Audi RS in every aspect of performance.

We know this how? Neither M3 or Skyline is out. Truthfully even if the Skyline was a little better it has that ricey and just Nissan stigma attached. I see all the Evo owners switching to this even if they cant afford it.

Because we know the GTR and M3 specs and the N'ring testing lap times. Perhaps the M3 is still speculative, but the GT-R is promised to beat 911TT performance.

Beautifully ugly. I'll bet the JGTC version will be even more of a beast, aesthetically.

The R33 is still my favorite though

I'm sorry, even if you are Skyline crazy, that thing is fugly for the money it costs. They messed it all up. Why not something very similar to the R34?

I can't wait for this thing to fail

peole don't want to pay that much for a japanese car, just like the VW phaeton failed because nobody would pay that much for a VW

look at the miniscule amount of NSX's that have sold over the years......

if they actually want to sell any, that ride better be under 45 grand

Hmmm, expensive, fast, but pre-riced from the factory. Tell me again why someone wouldn't just buy a new 911 or even a used Turbo or tastefully tune an import themselves for way less money?
