Difference between N20?

Anyone know the detail difference between the different tune for the N20?

As far as I know, they are in different stages of tuning, the 320i will get the 184HP version, 325i is 215HP and 328i is the 245HP.

But if the engine is the same, and the tuning is all based on ECU, does this means we can just buy a 320i and add on an aftermarket ECU and gain power beyond a 328i?

Nope. Turbos and other components also vary.
