I know nothing about bikes, but wouldnt that indented design on the rotors be detrimental to braking? Or is the bike so light that the indentations prevent skidding?

Nice 600RR and nice pics too!

Btw, seeing how your knee sliders are untouched and the fact that you have about an inch left of chicken strips on your rear tire, I think it's safe to say that you have a lot more room for leaning that bike over

Just messin man...lol

Let's see..
-Akra exhaust (looks to be a full system)
-Marchesini Wheels
-Galfer waves front and rear
-Galfer steel brake lines?
-looks like a Sato rearset, not sure though
-dont recognize the flushmount blinkers
-hopefully you converted to a 520 chain with the new wheels.

All in all... awesome. I suggest you look into suspension next as it really makes a difference.

I ride an 05 1000rr. Ride safe!

They're wave rotors... runs cooler (as in temp wise)

As with most any vehicle, wheels/stance/brakes make or break the appearance. Thanks for buying Pit Bull stands, made here in Huntsville.

Yeah, about that....

I'm not interested in finding the limit - I just enjoy riding and carving through the forest.

Good eye for the mods though - The full list is on the link below.

Thanks for the complements everyone.

Apparently the design allows the disc to expand with heat and remain flat, which are SS as opposed to iron

I was so focused on how purdy the bike is that i didnt even see that you are trying to sell it. Are you upgrading to a liter bike or a newer bike? I have an M3 as well and there is no way i would get rid of either one. They're just different kinds of fun!

That is one of the nicest CBR's I have ever seen, no joke.

Love the color scheme and how clean it is.

I'm actually just getting out of it.. I really enjoy the bike but I have too many toys and I only ride the bike once in a while for fun, never to commute, so it spends a lot of time in the garage.

I understand... my 1000rr rarely gets used as well and only has 9000miles after 6 years. But when I do ride it, it's always full out hanging off/leaned over 80mph on a 25 mph offramp Good luck with the sale!

btw, here are pics of my bike

Those actually are new tires (<200mi). I never got around to tracking it and I don't push it on the street - hence the strips

Very nice! I had a CBR1000RR before I moved onto the S1000RR. I ride the S more than the M now!

Thanks...aside from the weight reduction on the forged wheels, the next best mod I had was that ohlins rear shock and having the front forks resprung and revalved for my weight. Made a whole lot of difference in feedback.

Nice. I've been trying to convince my wife that i needed to have a matching s1000rr for the M3 but she's not buying it

And now that we are expecting twins, I doubt I'll be able to get one in the near future!
