August Auto Sales: BMW sales drop slightly

TOP SELLER: Sales of the BMW 3 Series rose 5 percent to 8,775.

HOT MODELS: Sales of the 5 Series were up 41 percent to 4,294. Sales of the X3 sport utility vehicle rose 167 percent to 2,382.
