Why not just get the Z06? If it's just going to be a weekend car, it's pretty pointless to spend the money on the C63 or the M3 when you're only getting luxuries and practicality that you don't really need in a weekend car. Not to mention that an ESS M3 dynos around 460... which is what a Z06 does.. stock, and it's a few hundred pounds lighter.
Yeah, you could stage 4 an evo, but the only downside about the corvette is its interior, and the evos is even worse.

In gas mileage? 0-60? Quarter mile? Around a track? OP, kind of a broad question.
Do you have track experience? I hear corvettes are difficult to wring out their full potential.

I just realized you're from Greece. Me too. I live in New Mexico now but go over to visit family every summer. Zito Ellas.

a Z06 is more common than a C-class or a 3-series? I mean, yeah, it's a C63... but it's still a C-class. And yeah, it's an M3... but it's still a 3-series. If you're trying to stand out, I'm not sure a C or a 3 is going to do that for you at all.
I do like the GTR idea though

You'll have a hard time finding a car than whoop a Z06(especially in its price range). The LS7 is also one of the most efficient big hp power plants made. No gas guzzler tax for a car with its power #'s is phenominal.
The new Z06 comes in at #9 on the Official Nurburgring lap times. Do let us know when you buy a car that can beat it. There are some out there, Im just curious what you end up with, especially since an evo is on the wish list. http://www.fastestlaps.com/tracks/nordschleife.html |

Cobb tuned Nissan Gtr-R with HKS exhaust. 2 mods costing a total of $2500 will allow you to run 10's in the 1/4. A stock Z06 can't do that... but they can be modified as well.

I agree, this is why a Z06 is aiming very high. I doubt even a fully modded C63 or M3 without spray will be able to keep. The MHP C63 which holds the American Benz record without spray was only running 11.2@125. I say good luck OP because a Z06 is a fast car... Consider a fully built evo with a massive turbo lol
