G-tech RR rpm sensing and 335i

I just picked up a G-tech Pro RR and can't get the rpm sensing to work. Is it that the electronic noise that the G-tech reads is too clean on the 335?

Yes the 12V power source it is plugged into is too well shielded to get any type of useful reading for the G-tech.

Thanks, thats what I figured after multiple failed calibration attempts. Too bad, the shift light would have been very nice for 1/4 mile runs if accurate. It's still a cool little device, if for nothing but assessing post-mod gains and PROcede map refinements.
