Formula 1 Grand Prix Du Canada 2011
So much to catch for for me after the vacation and sightseeing.
Going to finish the BBC Monaco Race before this weekend, as well as catching up with all the big news this week in F1. Canada is known for less-favor to RBR set up, where the long straights and sharp apexes / hairpin turn are less aerodynamically sensitive. More down to the car's top speed, KERS useage, DRS, tire useage, and got brave the driver can brake late into the corner. This should be an exciting race with possible dual DRS zone. The bad news is, the race coverage will be broadcast in FOX for American viewers. At least its still live broadcast. Race Date: 12 Jun 2011 Circuit Name: Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve Number of Laps: 70 Circuit Length: 4.361 km Race Distance: 305.270 km Lap Record: 1:13.622 - R Barrichello (2004) Tire Compounds Provided: Prime: Soft (Yellow) Option: Super-Soft (Red) Rain: Intermediate (Light Blue), Wet (Orange) Fri 10 June 2011 (Montreal - Eastern Time) Practice 1 10:00 - 11:30 Practice 2 14:00 - 15:30 Sat 11 June 2011 Practice 3 10:00 - 11:00 Qualifying 13:00 Sun 12 June 2011 Race 13:00 Fri 10 June 2011 (Pacific Time) Practice 1 07:00 - 08:30 Practice 2 11:00 - 12:30 Sat 11 June 2011 Practice 3 07:00 - 08:00 Qualifying 10:00 Sun 12 June 2011 Race 10:00 BE AWARE NORTH AMERICAN VIEWERS!!! Its time for SPEED TV and FOX to swap broadcasting for Formula 1 this summer, I'm not sure how many races (usually three). And Canadian GP is the first one this season. Please check local listing for delayed broadcast or live at your local FOX channel!!! For SoCal Charter viewers, besides SPEED.com will live stream P1 and P3 practice sessions, Friday P2 Practice and Qualifying (Delayed) will be show in SPEED, and RACE will be at FOX!

I was supposed to go but with my summer course load, it just wouldn't be a good idea
Fuck FOX, I'll wait a few hours and download the BBC torrent. I think that's what I'll be doing for now anyway because SPEED, in comparison, is trash as well. |

Demonoid usually has one posted around mid-day Sunday.
Back to the race though, can't wait to see how the tires will hold up. I also hope they finally fully repaired the track this time.

+1 for demonoid, although sometimes I can find it a bit sooner through Hotfile or rapidshare links

Maybe they resolved that already, but I wouldn't trade in the high wear rate the 'Circuit Gilles Villeneuve' has for anything though.

But generally speaking, the track itself is very worn down and abrasive. It is going to hurt the life of these pirellis. Even Pirelli won't predict tire useage for Canadian GP.
