The cops were just enforcing the law/ordinance/regulation.

If you want to demonstrate peacefully against "unjust" laws/regulations, etc., knowing full well you are probably going to be arrested for doing so, then deal with the arrest when it happens.

Hold those responsible for enacting such a weird law/reg. responsible instead of going nuts on the cops.

All he had to was say, "Look my job is on the line here, there is a stupid law that was passed by some bigwig that says you're not allowed to dance here. I don't agree with it, but I'm asking you nicely to stop. If you don't stop I'm going to have to escort you off the premises."

99% chance those people would understand the cops position and that he is just a normal guy like the rest of them and thus those folks would've stopped.

NO, those people would still cont to ask the cop what law is he talking about. The people in the video were being a pain in the ass on purpose. With all the smart ass attitude, all they had to do is google it on their fucking cell phones.

I respectfully disagree. It appeared that the "demonstrators" must have had some knowledge of the regulation in order to be there demonstrating against it in the first place.

The police nicely asked them to stop/refrain from violating the ordinance/regulation in the beginning but they chose to do so anyway. If the police had arrested them for any arbitrary reason, and not for violating the regulation, then the door is open down the road for a false arrest remedy.

By no means did the cops have an obligation to break down the regulation for them and explain it thoroughly to those people after they already warned the demonstrators that their behavior was unlawful/criminal.

Am I endorsing the regulation? Of course not. I could care less about it. The behavior of the police in this instance is just a complete non-issue IMHO.

The cop was being totally calm and just telling them what could happen. Those guys were trying to push his buttons and thats what happened.

I dont see a single problem. The cop does not have to argue with you, thats what the courts are for..

On the topic of the laws, the police just enforce them, they do not make them so there is no point in taking it out on the cop.

This video is a prime example of how "Police Brutality" is falsely portrayed time and time again.

Leave it to the public to jump on the "FUCK THE POLICE" bandwagon without knowing the full story or sequence of events leading up to the 3min youtube video of police taking action.

The cops have a role/position to maintain, and need to act quickly and effectively when enforcing the law. If they start taking small amounts of shit, its just going to keep getting worse and worse, until its out of hand. Seeing all these videos is starting to get tiresome.

9 times out of 10, its some fucking retard acting like a moron/ showing disrespect to a cop. Then when action is taken, they sit and sob like a bunch of emo kids stating they were mistreated. If people would just shut the fuck up and listen to cops to begin with, this would all be avoided.
