Artists?
A sketch I did in art class when I was 13.
I wish I had more free time to draw now, i'm not a great artist or anything but it is fun and stress relieving. Anyone else have some stuff they've done?

I've always been into art. Drawing, painting, photography and graphic design are mostly the things I do at this point.
Here are two pics I took not too long ago. |

Nature's Finest
Journal 1979-1980 Just over the craggy boulders and fallen trees there lies a crystal blue lake; a lake of peaceful mystery; a lake of untouched glory; a lake that resides within the long dormant craddle of a weathered volcano. Will this peaceful God allow the presence of a longtime searching man such as myself? The presence of beauty entertwined with serenity is unmistakeable. Such a presence I have never felt before. Accross the way, just within a thin grove of trees, there rests nature itself in a young fawn and it's mother doe. A fine scent of pine mingled with that of flower blossoms just enriches the flavor of beauty. On the lake, near one shore, a pair of trumpeter swans and their young congregate among the cat-tails and tall grasses. I never believed I would find my dream but I need not look farther. Alone I will sit and enjoy. It is beautiful. It is perfect. I cannot put end to such thoughtfulness of God. This is His place, just for Him and nature at its finest. Where shall I turn to, now that I have entered the residence of God? I will leave, not to return, for this is no place for the presence of man. 10-20-79 transcribed 4/6/86

Assuming music counts as art, I've written some songs, although sharing them may be technologically challenging. I suppose I could YouTube them.

This is the second and last charcoal drawing I ever made. It was for a girl I was crazy in love with, but never got the nerve to give it to her. Haven't had the inspiration to draw again since then.

Artist? I dunno, used to think so though.
Went to school for 5 years for my BFA, metalsmithing major. Never have made a living at that, but I've made a fine living being a hack. Graphics, Now an "Art director" for a large multi line dealership in the Northwest.
But Artist, I dunno I think I've long since lost my "ART" side, and instead make a living. I love what I do, I mean I am working with Motorcycles, Models, and PhotoShop for a living how bad can it be? NOT TO BAD... Here's some of what I do. Worked for USAF/USSOCOM/SPAWAR before walking away 2 years ago and doing more commercial fun stuff. I enjoyed what I did in Tampa, but I found it kind of twisted, Long Story.... ANYHOO... [CENTER]Couple things I did in Tampa: Another, future reqs stuff. Hard to build a portfolio when most of what ya do is at a minimum FOUO.

Personal pics, Used to think I was a decent photographer too.
Water, lots of water up here. Leaving Anacortes Washington awhile back. Funny when you live somewhere how easy it is to take the beauty around you for granted. Kinda like being married sometimes. Flowers, Yeah I know, but I like flowers... A ROSE, AT Buchart Gardens Lovely Place up North Vancouver Island BC Lots of bees, WHOLE place was humming. Last one... If you've never Been I recommend Victoria BC, Beautiful laid back place, with a proper English feel to it. Good Stuff.

"Vin Diesel is Daniel Boone, an epic masterpiece created in a simple internet forum topic named "MSPaint Vin Diesel". Amongst the many artistic renditions Vin Diesel is Daniel Boone was the one that stood out the most, and even despite the artist's "im sorry" apology after the post, obviously evidence of his modesty, this work of art will stay in our heads and our hearts forever"
