Porsche forum question please
Hi,
I know this's the BMW m3 forum. But I guess some of you have owned both BMW & Porsche, so I would like to be directed to a good Porsche online forum similar to this please. Thanks, D |

all is true. a buritos suggestion is where you want to go.
caymans are great cars, but i would personally wait for the 981. it shares a lot more 991 parts. |

And 3350k's suggestion has a lot of diversity. There are people with gtr, astons, porsches (from all model ranges including gt3 rs), ferrari, and more. Great place to hear opinions.
They have funny discussions about gtr vs porsche, which are similar to 6mt vs dct. |

Yep rennlist has great technical knowledge in there and 6speedonline tends to be more aesthetics related (not always but more so than often)

Rennlist for more technical chat 6speed for biggest wallet, etc. Rennlist is the one I frequented about 90% of the time. I would pop over to 6speed once in a while though...mostly to check out the new rides, etc.

Rennlist for sure
But if you were looking for 911 info, I would say that nothing beats Pelican Parts. It's easily the best forum I've ever been to. |

6speedonline has more action than rennlist, but I agree rennlist seemed like roadfly back in the day of the e46 m3 but with a modern bulletin board. However all this being said I found myself hanging out more at 6speedonlinie. I also joined renntech.org when I had my 997S.

fwiw, the former owner of Rennlist started his own forum after he sold Rennlist to Internet Brands. It's called Reutterwerk.com
It's a bit slower with traffic but it also has a Bimmer section, too. Otherwise, yeah, Rennlist or Pelican Parts Technical BBS forums are the best. You don't have to buy a membership to RL to post and read. But you won't get to use the classifieds. A paid membership made more sense when John and Jen owned the site, but now it's corporate owned and there are more ads and sponsors. And also agree that Planet 9 is the best for the Cayman specifically. |
