Folks, sorry if it's in the wrong section. I did do a search, and couldnt find any recent auction numbers. I'm trying to get a hold of the latest auction numbers for a 2008 535i. 37k miles.

synopsis of why I need this:

my dealership agreed to take my old 2008 535i in at "average auction" price. When I ordered my new 535, he turned the monitor over and showed me the average auction for my 2008 535i was about $28,400 (March 30th 2011). I ordered the car, and live went on.

My new car is in now. I've since found out that since I did not purchase the car on March 30th, the trade in will be at the CURRENT auction price. I'm hoping someone can shed some light on what that is, so I know what to expect. If it's only a few hundred different, I'll let it go. But if it's significantly different, I'll want to argue for him to keep our original deal.

Any help? advice? He mentioned "MMR price" I've read some posts and found that's typically a lot lower than residual, trade in, etc.
