I use to go and I loved it. The one near my house was open 24 hours and I had the whole gym to myself at one point. It's well worth the money.

The one I went to SUCKED (for what I wanted out of it). I don't grunt or drop weights (I think they call those people "lunks" and stuff) but I need my freestanding barbells/ez bars/ dumbbells >75 lbs. Their machine variety was very limited and the area with the weights was very small. It was mainly geared towards people who wanted to lose weight or do light weight training to compliment their cardio.
