Angry Anyone having Cat Nap problems ?

OK, nearly every other day when I go out to my car, I find a moggy cat sleeping on my windshield. - Its a good job the car has strong windscreen wipers !

The thing is, I notice paw prints across the bonnet, where the cat walks across the bonnet to his/her sleeping spot. I have not noticed any scratch marks, but it worries me that all this moggy attention will at some point result in some scratch marks.

Does anyone else have have problems with cats sleeping on their cars ? Any advice ? Any cat deterrent sprau out there ?

I have had a few times paw prints over the bonnet and roof, but never actually caught a cat on the car.

I can't imagine moggy meaning something positive.

moggy == pussy cat

For some reason the cat likes to jump up and paw across my hood and sleep at the bottom of the windshield.

You are looking for something like this:

http://www.mightypets.com/Scat-Mat-T...-ScatMats.html

They work well and on batteries as well. Good luck finding one in the UK.

get a cage.
catch them while they are sleeping on your "bonnet" and take the "moggy" cats to a chinese restaurant.

I think they pay @$25 dollars per cat on average fate cats may be worth more.

So if you can get 6 cats..that should cover the price of an exterior detail to remove the "moggy" paw prints from your "bonnet"

Be sure and post pics of you chasing the cats around and more importantly selling them to the chinese restaurant.

Be certain to provide us with the name of the chinese restaurant so we all now not to visit there or for those who like fresh cat..well you get the point.:rocks:

I have heard that PETA monitors these sites. They don't like BMW people and especially ones who don't love animals! Keep a low profile...they're watching....

P.S. I thought that was chicken

Thanks

That looks interesting, I will see if I can get something like this in the UK.
I can see that my neighbours will probably complain if they see their moggy being electrocuted. I was really looking for a spray. But at least the neighbours will get the message that their cat behaviour is pissing me off.

Just cover any stickers and it won't be too obvious. It's a clear mat so I doubt they will think you are trying to zap their cat. You won't need to use it forever, cats learn quick I've found.

ive always had this problem, my driveway is dug about 3 feet into my front lawn, so the cats come running across the lawn, instead of going around, just jump onto my hood and HEY! ITS WARM!! so they stay a while.....

Cats + warm hood =

a dish of sweet antifreeze should take care of your problem. cats love a snack before a nap a looooong nap

Assuming that you don't want to kill the cat, you might try putting a few mothballs in an open container and putting it near where the cat has been sleeping. Farmers use mothballs to keep critters out their combine engines, so it might work for cats. Along with humans, most other animals hate the smell. This worked for me to keep mice from building nests in my engine compartment.

i was obviously kidding about the whole killing the cats idea.lol I also tried that, but maybe because it was outside and the smell didnt have a chance accumulate, i didnt have much luck...just ended up having to deal with it. It did make my driveway smell nice though

I might have a problem with a cat sleeping on my hood, but having a shaved pussy in my passenger seat would make my day!

WTF
hahahaha
Yeah my cat sleeps on my car sometimes and oddly only after I wash it
When I catch her... I shoo her off but I'm not that anal about it because she has yet to put scratches on it from her claws... a little fur on the car blows off when I drive.

Not to digress too much, but a clean shave can be pretty stylish. My hairdresser friend used to shave my cat.

As for the sleeping on the hood part, cats like two things:

(1) sleep
(2) heat (fireplaces, heater vents, car hoods, etc.)
