My Turbo Cobra 9 sec pass video
Hey guys I know its not a BMW, but I also own a 2003 Cobra, that is slightly modified
 Its a built but stock cubic inch 4.6L, stock heads/cams with a single 76mm Billet Precision turbo. I hit up the track yesterday to make a few runs to try to dip into the 9s before the end of the year. I got thrown out last year for running 10.09@141 for not having a cage. Oops!Conditions were not optimal it was very cold in the upper 30s, low 40s we even saw some snow throughout the day. It was very tough to get the car to hook because the ground was so cold so I actually was running low boost instead of my full power tune. 18#s opposed to 25#s. But here are 2 videos of my first ever 9 sec pass. I went 9.77@126 w a 1.47 60ft. The MPH is low because I actually let out around the 1000 ft mark and coasted to the 1/4. It was very windy and the car was all over the track on the top end. Should have been a 9.5@140+ BTW this was on pump gas and meth and this car is a street car, not much weight reduction etc and I drive it on the street alot Enjoy! Outside view of my 9.77 pass In car view of an 1/8 mile pass I did. Ran a 6.2@113 which was the exact 1/8 mile time on my 9.77 pass to give you an idea. |

wow, that is exceptionally well done. What tranny setup is that? how high is your torque stall?
