Blackbox in a car

So the more and more crap that's happened to me, and crap I hear from other people....I'm really leaning towards getting one of those 'blackbox' systems in my car. Anyone have any experience/recommendations?

May already be in your car. Toyota has had "black boxes" across the board since 2006.

not that kind of a blackbox, more of the video camera kind.....
there are ones that are basically constantly recording when you're driving, and will start recording, even when NOT driving if there's a sudden G-impact
