SERO Premium

In case you own a SERO plan, and you were unaware like me of the changes....
On October 1st Sprint released an upgrade to the SERO plan, allowing you to use any phones that they offer for $10/month:

Yup, and the Evo and other 4G phones are an extra $10.

I have the Evo and pay $50 a month. woohoo!!!
I liked my $30 plan but it's worth it to me to have a kickass phone. And it's still cheaper than ATT/Verizon.

yep, I was starting to get fed up with Sprint with the way they were handling the SERO plans, but this made me even more loyal to them...

Got the epic 4g myself and paying $50 a month, the woman has a $40 a month plan and a hero...not bad

How is the service with Sprint? Do a lot of your calls get dropped? Signal?

Depends on where you live. Sprint is excellent in SoCal from my experience. Far, far better than AT&T.

in Pittsburgh it's better than ATT and comparable to Verizon...

Never had any service problem, never had a call dropped. I typically get signals where even ATT and Verizon people don't..for what it's worth...

I've NEVER been in a place where ATT/Verizon gets a signal and Sprint doesn't... but again that's Pittsburgh

.

Their CSRs have gotten infinitely better over the years too

Thanks guys, I had been debating whether or not to leave T-mobile and go to Sprint and now i've made up my mind. T-Mobile is just that terrible. At least here in Georgia.

yea tmobile hasn't upped their coverage very well... remember Sprint is almost entirely based off Verizon's towers (or at least used to be), so it's largely based on that. If your friends with Verizon have crappy reception where you are...don't expect much better

I've never dropped a call with Sprint, in the Houston area, for about 4 years now. Never had any problem at all, unlike most of my friends with ATT around here.

Nobody I know with T-Mobile likes it, they all wish they weren't.

which is oddly ironic/weird/whatever due to the fact that for years (and I think even still) they have the best rankings for customer satisfaction and whatever else.
