finally got to work on some of my Europe pics *lots of pics*
A couple months back i got the chance to go on a cruise w/ my parents around the Baltic Sea. Trip lasted a total of 17 days so i of course had a ridiculous amount of photos to go through, and just thinking of the number kinda made me not even want to touch them. I was able to edit them down to about 800 images which in itself was a pretty tough task. However, i'm finally making some progress on the PP and i'm about half way done w/ them.

Friend of mine is on a Med cruise now. How'd you like yours? Wifey and I have thought about a European cruise.

thanks! haha well, i figured if i went bigger it would take forever to load that many pics. Also, they're hosted on my flickr, and if i go to the next size up, i think they're a little too big for easy forum viewing.

for this trip, i just brought the 5D mk II, 24-70L, and the 50 1.4. Oh also brought my 550ex, but don't think i used it in any of the posted pics.

thanks! yeah i was actually really fascinated w/ that. I shot pics of the ships wake several times throughout the cruise.

#29 shows how stable those ships are. Even with that long exposure, there is almost no blur in the stationary objects in the distance.

yeah, it was relatively steady. Not steady enough to where i didn't feel like i was on a boat while standing on land for a week though haha.

Went on a couple of cruises with my ex (when she wasn't my ex) and she was the same way. She was fine on the cruise but she'd feel the boat rocking for a week after we got back.

It's funny you only posted "42 pics" out of your first half. Once you get a DSLR it's like every 7-8 shots 1 is you like (VERY big generalization). How big was your "half"

Dude, i started scrolling through them and was like these are nice pics.... but as you keep scrolling they keep getting better and even more interesting.
There are some REALLY cool pics here. Can't wait to see the second half of the images!! nice work!! I'm really drawn to the pic of the old door handle. That would be a great image to put into a nice frame.
