finally got to work on some of my Europe pics *lots of pics*

A couple months back i got the chance to go on a cruise w/ my parents around the Baltic Sea. Trip lasted a total of 17 days so i of course had a ridiculous amount of photos to go through, and just thinking of the number kinda made me not even want to touch them. I was able to edit them down to about 800 images which in itself was a pretty tough task. However, i'm finally making some progress on the PP and i'm about half way done w/ them.

Thought i'd share a few highlights thus far. hope you enjoy :

Thumbs up

Friend of mine is on a Med cruise now. How'd you like yours? Wifey and I have thought about a European cruise.

Great pics, btw.

thanks man.

This was a Norwegian Cruise Line cruise. I've been on other cruises, and to be honest, i wasn't terribly impressed by this ship. It was cool, and if you're a first time cruiser, it would still be pretty impressive, but there's better out there.

Also, a cruise is far from my ideal way of visiting europe for the first time, as you don't truely get to experience the places you visit. But i went w/ my parents and they footed the bill, so i was not going to decline! hahaha.

thanks! haha well, i figured if i went bigger it would take forever to load that many pics. Also, they're hosted on my flickr, and if i go to the next size up, i think they're a little too big for easy forum viewing.

#29 shows how stable those ships are. Even with that long exposure, there is almost no blur in the stationary objects in the distance.

yeah, it was relatively steady. Not steady enough to where i didn't feel like i was on a boat while standing on land for a week though haha.

Went on a couple of cruises with my ex (when she wasn't my ex) and she was the same way. She was fine on the cruise but she'd feel the boat rocking for a week after we got back.

It's funny you only posted "42 pics" out of your first half. Once you get a DSLR it's like every 7-8 shots 1 is you like (VERY big generalization). How big was your "half"

Dude, i started scrolling through them and was like these are nice pics.... but as you keep scrolling they keep getting better and even more interesting.

There are some REALLY cool pics here. Can't wait to see the second half of the images!!

nice work!! I'm really drawn to the pic of the old door handle. That would be a great image to put into a nice frame.
