Porsche panamera

After test driving the six cylinder and eight cylinder. For the money the six seems nice

what do you guys think about the panamera?

Would you guys choose an S450 4matic or a panamera 4?

I love the styling. I have never driven one, but I fear that because of its aggressive shape, the rear passengers won't have much room like the CLS and X6.

I love that car. Have it lowered on some nice deep dish DPE's, FRESH.

They're pretty sick.

I've been in the front and back and they're very spacious for tall people. They've got the speed you want and the look is very exotic.

I would definitely recommend it!

I love them... All car manufactures should have all different types of vehicles and I think Porsche did that very well... Major Props!!!!

I don't see the appeal at all? And I guess neither does the public since every dealer seems to have 4 or 5 sitting on the lot.

It's an amazing car. You can't hate it once you see it in person, especially if you sit in one. Great interior, perfectly fine rear seating, amazing build quality. I think the exterior looks perfect for a four door Porsche. It has all the exterior cues it needs, including the roofline, which I don't have a problem with at all. The performance is on par if not better than all the other four door performance sedans out there too.

What's not to like?

From the front it looks like a Corvette. From the sides and back, looks hideous. Looks like Porsche's attempt at a Chrysler station wagon. All it needs is some wood paneling.

From what I have read the 6 is a bit under powered for it's weight but you drove them both so..

I believe you can get 2010 S/4S' for invoice at many dealers right now. What you would need to find out is if there is trunk money to negotiate with down from invoice.

Overall the car is rated as a great drivers sedan.

Panamera should be seen in real life and specially at night. Those led lighting and the shape really look good. Porsche wanted a practical saloon car and they gave us one.
Seriously, pictures don't do justice to this car. Got to see it in real life.

Honestly, we went in thinking Lexus LS -- reliable and all

That car just doesn't cut it anymore, it feels like a cheap knock off of the S class -- its not at the same level; completely disconnected vehicle, and for 92 000 dollar car, it pulls no status/road presence -- looks like a giant camry.

Ended up thinking Panamera V6 (b/c of price) or an S450. Right now, looks like the Panamera v6 is the call. True, I personally believe the Panamera is at its best in the V8 form; but the folks don't need that.

The 7 series just isn't luxurious and doesn't drive as well as BMW's smaller cars (1 and 3 series); feels dreary. And nobody is going to pay money/top dollar for an Audi.

Honestly, the rear looks like a carrera 911? how come you guys hate it so much? Its a Granturismo car, they've looked like that for ages. I just don't think North America has seen enough of them.

Autobahn supercruiser. I've passed 2 on highways in the US where the drivers seemed intent on keeping it close to the speed limit which kinda shows how pointless they can be in the US, which implies that the 6 is more reasonable.

They have so many at the dealers because it's their best selling model
