AT&T Sick of it!!..
Hey folks i switched to at&t from verizon just for the iphone about 18 months ago.
Recently the service got horrible. I wasnt getting calls. I would get voicemails all the time with no missed calls. My texts would stop working. I switched back to verizon and am so happy never ever an issue...PERFECT SERVICE. For anyone wanting to switch do it, its so worth it UNLIMITED PLAN for 129.99 way cheaper then at&t |

I have a phone on each network. Verizon has better coverage, but AT&T's 3G speeds are at least 3x faster in my area. My Droid struggles to get a connection faster than 0.8 MB/s...3G S consistently gets 2+. The speed difference is very noticeable.

I recently switched from Verizon to AT&T just to get the iPhone 4.
So far, the coverage has been pretty good and I'm content with what I've had. We'll see how it goes after 12 months of using their coverage. I hope I don't regret it. If I do, I'll just switch back after my 2 year term ends. *fingers crossed* |

Verizon for over 4 years now, never had problems with coverage. Never.
Just signed up for AT&T for iPhone 4, first day a couple drop calls already. iPhone in all aspects over weighs the fact that coverage is horrible.

I don't think i've EVER had a dropped call with Verizon the last 4 years as a customer...before Verizon i had AT&T and it would just drop like crazy, it depends on your area too...but i my phone would not even ring at my house, and Verizon has full bars...
i hate verizon, they over charge like a mofo, but i can't use anything else cuz i don't get reception...

This is exactly what I found researching ATT vs. Verizon when I was going to either renew w/ ATT or switch carriers - Verizon had more encompassing coverage but in populated areas ATT had the faster network.

I have had Verizon for 6 years. I rarely get a dropped call in Los Angeles. My parents and my girlfriend are with AT&T. Their service is horrible. They hate it but dont want to change for some reason. Well my GF did just put her phone in vacation mode for 6 months since her work gives her a phone with sprint which is even worse. She will go to verizon at some point. My parents are old school and think AT7T is the only phone company in existence, and that the other carriers are getting their service from AT&T.lol
We had AT&T for our office phones for years with internet and they were ass fucking us every month for shit service with high prices. I switched over to Charter cable for everything, and saved over $200 a month with 3x faster internet plus TV service and a $150 rebate card and free install. AT&T called us a few days after the switch and asked why?lol I told them because they suck. In those words. the person on the phone asked me to clarify. "I told them we get horrible service and paid way too much, is that clear to you"? He tried to give me some song and dance about how big they are and they can offer more, and I told him to pass on this message to the higher ups...Go shove you shit service, and awful customer service up all your asses. Also what phone company shuts your phones off after your payment was a day late? It was a screw up in the mail and our payment got delayed. They shut our business phones off for 2 days! He said yes that is what they do with business accounts. I told him that is crap, and that is why you lost us for good. AT&T is the worst phone company by far. Yes we have poor phone service as a whole here in the US with cell phones, but AT&T takes the cake, and gets fat on it. |

FAIL. Sprint's unlimited plan is $69.99
I switched to them from at&t. Before that I had Verizon for 7 years...never had problems with dropped calls in the D.C. area, the only reason I didn't go back to Verizon was the sweet & cheap deal from Sprint. |
