What the hell do they new Caymans run?

I was just curious what the 09+ Cayman S's run in the quarter mile. ( no different between the 09+10 correct, except PDK?) I know there not made for the quarter mile blah blah, Im just curious I think I found 1 site that said 13.1 or something but that was suppose to be conservative. Does anyone know??

The Cayman S is one surprisingly quick little car and for some obvious reasons, one it's go the engine in the right spot to place extra weight on the rear axle thus capitalizing on the available grip from the tyres and PDK is THE master among all DCT gearboxes when it comes to launch control.

What the Hell Do the New Cayman's Run? They run $80k optioned right. LOL.

I went all wacky over one a few days ago on a loooong test drive. It didn't matter how fast it was, it was an insanely perfect driver's car, imho. I almost traded in my cars to get one as a DD.

It's fast enough for what it is; any time lost on the straights will be made up on the corners.

Audi TT-RS DSG is faster than Porsche Cayman S PDK, both on straight line and in cercles. But I like the P-Car better. I think it should have better handling and feel, and must be also more fun with RWD.

I didn't know the TTRS had an official DSG. Thought that was just a rumor.

they are quick in comparison. It is funny because now I wouldnt run one now in my 135 knowing I will likely lose, but in my 03 Cobra I loved it when those guys would try to run me. I put a hurtin on several of them and a couple when they had their girlfriends in the car. That has got to be a little humiliating for them. One guy in a Cayman S was super confident he would thrash me and told me to hit first.lol So I gave it about half throttle and when he hit it I went WOT and spun past him putting around 8-10 cars on him. His girlfriend was shocked and he was dick about it. Typical. I told him he needs know his competition a little better and not to be a little prick. Now my cobra had well over 510rwhp and was full weight 3850lbs with me in it.

I have to say they are good cars but not for the money. With the PDk and sports chrono package it is over 70k and for that money I can get a ZO6 that is much faster in all respects and better looking and sounding.

The OLD generation ran low 13's@~107...i used to own this model and it was still quite a quick car.
on the track you seriously dont get any better. they are beyond sublime and really shine in that environment.
Thats what I keep hearing, but is there prove of that? Is the Boxster S the same weight and power that ran that or what?
For those that have drove them, do they feel faster then the 335i?

I am pretty sure that you can get Boxsters and Caymans for way, way below sticker. Way below. So don't be too put off by their list prices.

How could I make such a mistake? I read badly. I was surprised that the TT-RS was faster than the Cayman S PDK, but it was wrong, Cayman is faster than TT.

I grow to love the Cayman S and its capabilities more and more every time I read up on it. A few companies have done Cayman twin-turbo project cars and honestly, I don't think it gets more perfect than that.

You want to talk about FAST and a JOY to drive...the new Boxster Spyder. I'll tell you what, I think the regular boxster & Cayman's look like crap, but this spyder...i dunno, but I fucking love how it looks. Magazines and autoheads alike are drooling over this new machine.
