Who's buying the 4G iPhone?

Well I did some reading and I guess the official release date is June 22nd. I dont exactly know what is so great about it but I heard it has a front and back camera... other that that and a new look I don't really know.

Now! Who's buying one? How much do you think it will cost with a plan from ATT because I have an upgrade on well, June 22nd.

I'm just scared its going to have all sorts of bugs and what not that need to be worked out so I'm hesitant.

Whatta ya think?

Ill probably end up buying it. Im not impressed with any of the google phones yet. It'll probably be $299 16gb with a contract.

So far I am pleased with my 3GS. Gimme OS 4.0 with multitasking and real support for MS Exchange and there is nothing else that I really want.

i skipped the 3gs (i have 3g) because the update wasn't really that substantial, but I'll probably end up getting this one. depends on how many new features they announce at the conference

If the only update is a new look and the frontal camera I'm not impressed but the release is about a month away I'd hope that they have the list...

Since I still have the 3G iphone I will skip the 3GS and go straight to the 4G, so ya I'm buy'n.

Safe to say, I'm going to get the 32GB iPhone 4G :P

Just unlock your current one and get top dollar abroad

I sold my 3G last year before the 3GS came out for $500
Bought the 3Gs For $255 using my mom's contract

the extra speed is phenomenal

the 3G is so slow...
especially if you jailbreak and use background running apps (such as winterbroad, sbsettings, lockscreen apps, etc)

+1 3g vs 3gs quickness is insane
when i had the 3g i used to think that nothing can be faster than this
then i got the 3gs and was like WAOOOOWWW!!!

I was going to keep my 2G until then 4G came out, but I got drunk a couple months back and dropped it, which made the On/Off (top button) stop working, so I got a 3GS (much bigger upgrade than I thought it would be, super fast). 4G looks damn nice though, wish I could have made it.

4.0 is going to make your 3GS feel slow. Like how 3.0 made the original and 3G phones feel slow. And multitasking/saved state is barely usable with the limited ram on the 3GS. That's why Apple won't even allow multitasking on the older phones. It would be pointless. With the new processor, more ram, and new display resolution, I think pretty much everyone will want to upgrade. The upgraded camera + secondary front-facing camera are just icing on the cake.

OS4 is going to be a nice improvement, but really needs faster hardware to take advantage of the new features well.

According to the tear downs of the prototype, it has the same amount of RAM as the 3GS/iPad( 256 MB).

And I am in as well. My 3G looks so old.....

Time to send it to the nursing home I sent my original iPhone to( the box it came in0.
