Its pretty epic....
And even though it's a "reality show" I see it more as a documentary since it hasn't been tainted (scripted) as much as everything else that's out there. While obvious that Hollywood has tried (fight scene on the season opener this year), not even they can predict what's going to happen next. I also applaud Discovery channel for not changing the production style from what it was during the first episodes of the show even before it was known as "Deadliest Catch" to some watered down docu-drama piece of shit. |

Deadliest Catch is a good show. I used to watch it a lot but it kinda played over and over so I stopped watching. It's weird because you're basically just watching the same thing over and over yet it's so addicting. I mean they just go on a boat, go out and pull up the traps over and over. However, for some reason it's hard to stop watching.
I used to watch House religiously. Then other shows come along but House is still one of my favorites. It's one of those things where you watch the first few minutes and you can't stop watching until the end. Current shows I like are: Glee, House, Chuck, Wheel of Fortune (yes damn it!!), Tonight Show, Fringe (love this show), Human Target, Kitchen Nightmares. |

Burn Notice. Best show that nobody watches. You have to have watched every single episode since the series started though to enjoy it.

I've seen a couple of episodes and I kinda like it. The problem is it's not on a network that most people would tune into. That I never seem to know when it's on so I don't even bother following it.

My favs (not necessarily in order....)
Deadliest Catch Mythbusters (my daughters call them the Myth Brothers, cute for 4 and 6 year olds....) Burn Notice Archer (if you missed it, O-M-G is it funny!!!) Top Gear (duh....) Sons of Anarchy Justified I don't have premium cable channels like HBO, so I'm not including any of those on the list. But if you notice, not a single show from the "Big 3" networks.... Some others have been named here that I just haven't gotten into. I hear Breaking Bad is fantastic, but I haven't caught onto that one yet..... Oh, and I never watch LIVE TV. TiVo or DVR only for me.

I'm pretty into Fringe and Flash Forward. I used to like Heroes but it has seriosuly sucked the last few seasons and I think I'm done with that show. Southland is a good one. All the shows on FX are brilliant... Sons of Anarchy, Archer, Nip/Tuck, Sunny in Philly, etc... Family Guy is awesome as well. The very best series IMO tho was The Wire.

I used to watch house a lot more, but I watch it less cuz i get annoyed with it sometimes. Hugh is great and he can be really funny sometimes, but I get annoyed with his complaining.. and its not going to be the first diagnosis, or the second, or the third, and its NEVER lupus...
My favorites right now: Dexter LOST Fringe Pacific (BAD ASS) Entourage and tons of shows on national geographic and discovery (mythbusters, deadliest catch, etc.) |
