Recommend a sedan
My mom has driven a 2002 Passat GLX (B5.5) for the past eight years. It's time for her next car. They need something a little bit larger than the Passat (in terms of personal space for the driver and passenger more than in terms of back seat leg room or cargo space or anything). She wants something that is a good highway cruiser to eat up the miles in. And she wants something that either has good manufacturer incentives new from the factory today or a good CPO program for a 2- or 3-year-old example.
I recommended Toyota Avalon, Lexus GS350, or the new Passat/CC. What say you?

$9500 off on all Genesis sedans at a store here in Dallas. So a loaded 40K V8 could be had for low 30's with taxes.
What they might do for a customer to get that deal is having to finance with them or something. |

A CPO 2009 E63 AMG would be a fantastic freeway cruiser. With major trunk space and safe, too. It'll eat up the miles effortlessly. Ask me how I know

You guys are a trip. My mom is a retiring school teacher. Let's keep the suggestions in the range of mere mortals; less than $30k.

If the budget was above 30k, your mom would be coolest if she gets a M3 sedan
Seriously, try out the new Accord. It's pretty roomy.

I agree with you on the Avalon. Its HUGE inside, boring to drive, quiet, and wafty on the highway.
Also, toyota should be eager to move out any of its products right now. |

Try negotiating a CC Sport for less than 30. It looks cooler than the other choices.
