What kind of bug is this??
About a week ago I spotted these little bugs around my window and 2 of them were on the corner of my bed (bed is near the window). It startled me but I just killed them and went on my way. The next day I spotted more on the window sill, and now I come across them everyday! Most are on the window sill (there was about 5 of them yesterday) and if I'm unlucky, Ill find one on my bed. Yesterday there was one on my pillow case and today I found 2 of them under my sheets! Theyll also end up on the walls as well.
I don't know what kind of bug they are or where they came from! Its really grossing me out. They're really small and they fly (or at least try to, they kind of spaz). I checked my windows and I cant find any crevices or holes that they'd be coming from. I also checked my bed as well and nothing. They only come out during the day too.

no that's what I thought they were but they don't look like that. these look like little beetles and their legs are like tiny little hairs. and their shell(?) looks furry like

There are many different species of bed bugs. The article on Wikipedia says "There are 6 recognized subfamilies of Cimicidae and up to 23 genera, while the number of species has been stated as anywhere from 75 to 108."

I've seen a couple of them here too. I don't think they're bed bugs. They look more like lady bugs (another species perhaps?).
Edit: after seeing the pix posted above, I'm 100% sure they are not bed bugs. |

That's what I'm saying. they don't look slimy like that
theyre black and brown/beige striped (looks furry kind of) and theyre beige underneath. and their legs are not focused towards the top of the body

Yea, I zoomed in on the picture. I googled "black and brown ladybugs" and found someone on yahoo answers who has a pretty damn close description but no definite answers

Whatever it is, it's always the best idea to remove your furniture in near spot and clean and seal everything throughly. If it isn't a bed bug, there's a GOOD chance your wall joint where it meets the floor has a crack or behind the heat radiator if you have it.
If those things would fly, I would imagine your home is at second floor next to the tree where those bugs nest next to the tree and they just started to come out. |

They're not due to filth, guys. I've been seeing them around here lately as well. Noticed one on my carpet the cat was playing with at home, and also noticed one on my window sill at the office. I squished the first one and picked up the other and put it outside.
What area do you live in? Seems like a seasonal bug to me.

It's not a bed bug, but the name eludes me at the moment.
