Can You Return Clothes W/ Tag Removed?

i bought a brooks brothers polo and somehow the next day i find it not my size, but i already removed the tag. it fits but if i can return for a small it would be a better fit. it has been washed once but never worn (washed it after i came back home with it).

i do have the reciept still, is the shirt still returnable although tag is off? i looked on brooks brother's site and it says i can return to any store, if im not satisifed, etc but nothing on tags.

help much appreciated. thanks.

Only thing you can't rtn to BB is undies or custom made stuff.

If they can't tell that the shirt has been washed, you're in the clear.

Hell, some stores will even take washed stuff if it comes out of the washer looking crappy.

I have clothing tagger, small clothing company... My mom borrows it all the time, lol... Give it a shot, more than likely they will take it back.

They probably will. Note that a return is different from an exchange. Stores will usually give you in-store credit for something they won't let you out right return. You're looking to exchange something and it sounds like the only thing wrong with it is that: 1) it doesn't fit you and 2) you already cut the tag off. I'd be surprised if they didn't let you exchange it.

damn bb is the shit. on their website under returns it says, bb guarantees its merchandise and your satisfaction. this is by far the first company that supports it 10000000% that i have dealt with.

basically tag on or off, clothes washed or not, as long as it is in "in store" condition with the bb label still on it you are g2g. no hassel. no reciept= just exhange or store credit w/ reciept = exchange, store credit, or cash if you originally paid this way and return online or any bb store.

i guess this is the service you get for $70 polos

. very happy with their customer service (first time i had a return and it came out great).
