Things people do at work that piss you off

1) clipping their nails. While i am lucky enough to have an office, i usually keep the office door open ( its a sign of trying to be available to anyone with any questions and not being an intravert). This guy who sits in a cube outside my office, i dont know what he's clipping with but holy sh*t its so damn loud! I actually had to get up and pretend i was on a conference call and shut the door it was driving me insane

2) office women bitching at their kids on the phone. Seriously, noone wants to hear that your daughter is a whore and you dont approve of her sleeping with _____

3) people that say snotty sh*t to you just because you drive a bmw. " oh so you drive a bmw eh? Got any openings in your group because you must make a lot of money or something ( sarcastic tone). "

anyhoo just venting

ok, yall gona get a kick out of this. When they complain about their job. First, no compay is gona hire you to sit and look pretty, they hire you to produce work. Second, that is why it is called a job (not a vacation). Third, stop being so selfish and think about other who work with you. Fourth, if you don't like your job, find another job and stop crying about it and making other suffer and trying to fight with the comany (i am not gona suport your complain). Fifth, be thankful you are not on the unemployment list and that you have a job.

My biggest annoyances are all email related:

1 - People that hit 'reply to all' when responding to one person on a broadcast email.

2 - People that engage in email discussions instead of a quick conversation. Re:[71] is quite enough.

3 - "Well I copied you on that email four months ago. [the issue] was mentioned among the list of issues in bullet point number 38. What do you mean you weren't aware of it?" I get 200+ emails everyday. Copying me as the 102nd recipient does not make me aware of the issue! You sit across the hall from me - come talk to me or at least pick up the freaking phone!!

LOL that reminds me of this one time at work... someone mailed something out to a global type of list-serve but it was addressed to one person. And it wasn't a moderated or access-only list for posting, so what happened? All these employees start hitting REPLY ALL saying "Please remove me from this list, I don't think I was the intended recipient" and no one would have the smarts to realize that it was a mistake and just move on... nope, more and more REPLY ALLs. Here they are complaining of an inconvenience and in their attempt they're annoying everyone all over again... just reply to the sender!!!

Then you'll get someone annoyed with all the emails attempting email-flood control by - wait for it - hitting REPLY ALL and saying "guys this was an accident, stop using REPLY ALL"

Work literally stops when that happens (happened twice in the past 2 years) for a good 20-30 mins cos your inbox gets flooded, and you can hear people groaning or laughing and discussing it.

This is easy fix.
Tell room mate all what you don't like, tell room mate this is last warning and left THAT on some place that room mate can see.

1) my building is 95% offices and 5% cubicles. it's really annoying when people have loud discussions in the hallway.

2) people that leave the water cooler empty. replace the bottle! if you can't do it, find somebody that'll help you do it.

3) people that don't wash their hand after using the restroom.

4) people that leave the printer jammed like nothing happened.

+1 nasty... I'd also add: people that wash their hands w/o soap. What did you accomplish by doing that?
