critique of my first attempt at an HDR

This is my first attempt at an HDR using the photomatix trial. It looks super noisy to me; I only used the HDR option in photomatix and tweaked some of the settings, but that's about it. Any advice/opinions/criticism? Are there any good tutorial sites I can go to in order to hone my lack of skills?

I'd probably crop it so that building on the far left is out of the picture and the yellow/green face of the adjacent building breaks into the frame. Maybe increase contrast and saturation a little?

Overall, though, nice job!

It looks like your image are too smooth. At least for me, since I like lots and lots of details.

try layering your original and mask it at 30% until the detail comes back if that makes sense lol.

basically bring some of the original back into the picture until it looks better.

I guess it depends on the look you are going for i wanted more of a painting look for this one.
