The attempt to steal my car
So this is actually pretty funny. I was coming home last sunday from a labor job, and do a lap around my street to park on the right side of the street. As I turn down my street and come up to my house I noticed a hooptie green mustang with 3 hispanic males inside. Once they see my lights I instantly turn on my brights and they all duck down in their seats. I knew what their mission was. Over the past few months I have had suspicious cars come up and stop to look at my car. So I pull up and get into my house.
I pick up my receiver and dial 311. Now this is the actual conversation: (it flips over to 911 if you wait long enough) Operator: 911 Emergency how can I help you? Me: Hi there are 3 men parked in a mustang across the street and a few doors down who are going to steal my car Operator: Okay sir how sure are you they are going to steal your car? Me: Pretty sure due to it being 1am and a car full of mexicans is parked right next to my car. Operator: Okay sir we have a unit about 20 minutes away we will send someone over when we can Me: Well miss im pretty tired and am about to go out and take car of this myself. Operator: oh sir we wouldn't want you doing that Me: Alright then goodnight Not more than literally 2 minutes later 2 police cars come flying down my street coming towards eachother to box the mustang in. They fling the men out of the car "What the fuck are you doing here" "kfndgksnfdgjndjngdjngjdnfdfjnfdjgnd" (spanish) One of them was arrested and they found a crowbar, pliers and a slim jim. I now know why I pay $2300/year in car insurance. Don't drive a black 2000 Civic EX coupe boys and girls. Hope you all got a good laugh

Good to see that they are actually doing what they are supposed to be doing in the first place

Willow Glen of all places. Kind of sucks the ghetto is about 2 miles from here. 30 cars in like a 3 block radius have been broken into/stolen. My 12 gauge super magnum aint too far from me trust me.

Top Gear top tip...when you call for the police...tell them you'll "take care of it yourself"....they'll come in a jiffy....unless they really think that you WILL take care of it and do not need any police assistance....
