Need help uploading videos on Youtube
Just got a GoPro HD camera, it's awesome. Anyways I tried to UL it directly on to youtube and it said it would take 2-3 hours. It's a MP4 file about 5 mins long. Filmed in 960p (1280x960) 30 FPS if that makes any difference.
I don't know a thing about loading videos on the interwebz, so do I need to compress them or what? FWIW, I have iMovie HD on my mac, but haven't a clue how to use it. Any tips appreciated!

Update after some googleing. I used iMovie to compress the movie for web on iMovie. I uploaded to photobucket but damn the quality sucks.
Here's a look if anyone's interested, video of Eisenhaus Race exhaust on my car:

I finally uploaded the original video to vimeo. Took 6 hours!
What's the norm for you guys uploading HD videos on to YouTube, etc? What can I do to make my uploads faster other than upgrading/changing ISP?
