*** Everyone PRAY For Nick @ Ae Performance :( ***
UPDATE: Nick recently was released and is back home! The cancer is in remission. A quote from him: "I punched cancer in the face".
This past weekend Nick @ AE Performance was diagnosed with Acute Lymphocystic Leukemia - pre b. I know it's a stretch posting this on here but any extra support he and his family gets is for the best i think. Nick is one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet, i'm not a religious man but a little extra praying sure couldn't hurt!! Anything will help at this point... His family set up this website for people to keep track of his progress: http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/nicholasreed fight this thing nick!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ----------- Anthony over at audizine set had tshirts made as a fundraising effort. 100% profits of the first 200 sold will go to Nick/Nick's family, after that 2/3's of the proceeds will (the rest will cover the shirt production costs): http://www.audizine.com/forum/showthread.php?t=336929 important, please help if possible: Blood Donor Center at St. Josephs: 714-744-8721 Sign up to donate platelets for Nick Reed. They should be able to help him today but for any future use it's good to have supply. Thanks everyone! They now know Nick by name at the donor center thanks to his many friends, family and loved ones! Last edited by jpsimon; 04-23-2010 at 02:08 PM.. |

This really really sucks!
Nick is the coolest guy and was always in such great shape. I'm extremely sad about this.

Why does it seem complications come to those in great shape? A lifelong best friend of mine passed Saturday while running. He was ripped and ran everyday. Massive heart attack. Funeral Saturday. Really puts things in perspective. Fight Nick! |
