Does Anybody Else Find The 458 Ugly?
Ive looked at it from every angle I can find and I just dont find it to be good looking. It just looks like somebody hit an Enzo with an ugly stick, and I dont find the Enzo to be a particularly good looking car either.
Dont get me wrong it performs amazingly and the intergrated aerodynamics make my jaw drop. But a good looking car it is not. |

Meh, nothing interesting to my eyes, but I also despise the 360/430 softening. To me, the 550/575 is the only decent Ferrari design since the F40. The Enzo might be okay without the goofy doors, but the F50 was ten kinds of fail.

It aint perfect. I don't 100% like the headlights and the 2 taillights (I prefer quad taillights), but mostly I like the design and the interior. I think you need to see it on the road to make a full judgement. Here's one real-life pic that shows it to look good and have a great stance.

Actually I like 1 thing about it. The idea of integrating the blinkers onto the steering wheel and eliminating the turn stalk to expose the paddles better is one of the best ideas that I have heard of.

Hated it at first. Absolutely love it now.
It's crazy, they pulled a Bangle. I still don't know if I like it more than the 430 Scuderia.

I hated the new E-Class, 7-Series, and 1-Series when only pictures were available. Then when I saw them on the road in person, I came around and ended up liking them a lot. IMO, you can only truly judge a car when you've seen it with your own eyes.
And to stay on topic... I love the 458, the wheels (their design as wheels themselves and how they show off those massive ceramics) in particular.

I wouldn't kick it out of bed for eating cookies.
It is interesting how the sweep of the front end paired with the headlight pods resemble a Porsche design from some angles (like the posted snow photo). |

Agreed. I think the 430 had me going more. I think the 458's sheen looks like plastic (same with the California). Not a fan of the ongoing design scheme, but I will say that the size of those brake rotors turns me on a bit.

I think it's the best looking Ferrari since the F355.

Love the 458 Italia. The wheels are better-looking than those on the Scuderia. It does have a more feminine profile (sleek/slender) than the Scuderia/F430, though.
Given the choice, I would pick the 430 Scuderia. But hey, if someone buys me one, I'll take either one.
