Well I have one thing to say, and that is JAy is wrong about the street. Mulholland is crap. It is the worst maintained street. Way too dangerous to drive fast on. I have driven it many times and hate it. Narrow, bumpy and pot holes everywhere you look. He should of taken it through Malibu canyon. Way better road.

Mulholland Highway (not to be confused with Mulholland Drive, although the two were connected before the 405 cut them off from each other) is the better road today. Except in the winter when there's too much rock slide after a rain (like today.) Here's one of many Mulholland stories: http://www.latimes.com/news/printedi...,6843614.story The best recount of those racing days is the Dan Magee and Chris Banning book, "The Mulholland Experience." http://www.amazon.com/Mulholland-Exp.../dp/0977968227 |

That V8 sounds amazing. Is it me or the latest trend for exotic cars is for them to look more organic and sleek rather than aggressive racer car like (ex. the F450, or the new McLaren)

Nice sound editing. You can hear the engine and Leno, but not the suspension banging on some of those ruts. If it was all newly paved it would be an awesome drive.

sound great. but it is starting to bug me because the c63 amg and this sls sound exactly the same. i mean if you pay 180k for a car like this, you want it to sound a bit different than the guy at the light in a 50k c63 amg.

Did he just seriously say that Mulholland+Laurel Canyon+Coldwater Canyon is as good as the Nurburgring? No.
The SLS sounds great. The amount of movement in the front suspension is crazy, shows how rough those roads are.

Topanga Canyon is way too crowded and busy. Try Old Topanga Canyon instead (left after the post office if you're heading up from the PCH) to Mulholland Highway (west instead of east; east is Mulholland Drive.) A better drive, imho.
